After defeating Peter Harvey and Marc Porter in the semi-finals 6-2 & 7-5, Jerry Albricks and Leo Power faced Rob Pierce and Jeff Mitchell in the finals. Mitchell and Pierce had won their semi-final match versus Dan McCormick and Steve Heath (2-6, 6-2, 7-6) to make it to the finals. The day ended with Jerry Albricks and Leo Power as the Rhode Island Men's Doubles Champions.

 

Mike Fried and partner Chris Gaudreau overcame Rob Coster and Ross Burgess 6-3,6-3 to take the consolation winner. Jamie Hayes and partner Dan O'Brien took Jim Dey and Pete McCormick in two games 6-3,6-3 to take the reprieve.

 

 

Rhode Island Mixed Doubles Semi-final action started with Leah Nero and Pete McCormick defeating Judy and Jeff Takach 6-3,6-3. Ann and Peter Harvey lost to Lance Barrett and Liz McCann to send the McCann/ Barrett combo to the finals. Finals were concluded with Leah Nero and Pete McCormick defeating MCann/Barrett in 3 sets 7-5,2-6, 6-4. Kim Hyde and Bob Winchester defeated John and Tina Spears to take the consolation winner. Judy and Jeff Takach won over Ann and Peter Harvey for the reprieve.
